Early aerosol test bath magnetic rails were made from Alnico horseshoe magnets, but today, these magnetic rails are available in far more economical ceramic rail assemblies. Single Lane Magnetic Aerosol Test Bath Rails
Bunting’s single lane magnetic test bath rails are usually used for conveying a larger, single lane of cans through the test bath. This includes cans such as propane bottles, large spray paint cans, lubricants, and adhesives. These 2-pole magnetic rails are typically stronger than dual lane magnetic systems, making them ideal for transporting larger, heavier cans. They usually run with 4-1/2” to 7” plastic or stainless steel table top chains, and have the center gap directly below the cans for the lug of the chain to ride in through the tank.
Dual Lane Magnetic Aerosol Test Bath Rails
Bunting’s dual lane magnetic test bath rails are designed for transporting two lanes of smaller cans through a test bath. This typically includes smaller cans such as hair sprays, cooking sprays, adhesives, and lubricants. These 4-pole magnetic rails are designed and manufactured to handle two lanes of smaller cans on a 7-1/2” plastic or stainless steel table top chain. Here, the center gap in the rails for the chain lug is between the two lanes of cans.
