Animation

Bunting Electrostatic Separators use electrostatic charge to separate dry, liberated particles with different levels of electrical conductivity. The process separates conductive materials from non-conductive materials and is used in mineral processing, plastics recycling, and other recovery applications.

Bunting applies more than 65 years of separation and material-handling experience to the design of these dry processing systems. They can process minerals, plastics, and metals to improve product purity, reduce waste, and recover valuable material.

The process uses no water or chemical additives. Each separator can be configured for the material, throughput, and operating conditions, with controls that support repeatable performance.

Applications include mineral processing, plastics recycling, e-waste processing, lithium-ion battery recycling, and end-of-life vehicle recycling. Bunting works with customers to configure each system for their material recovery requirements.
