Inline Magnets

Inline magnets remove ferrous contaminants from dry materials moving through gravity-fed or pneumatic pipelines. They are used in food processing, plastics, ceramics, and bulk material handling.

Stainless steel construction is available in standard, food-grade, and sanitary models designed to meet applicable USDA and FDA requirements. Depending on the model, separation is provided by side-mounted plate magnets or centrally located cartridge or cone magnets.

Ceramic and neodymium rare earth magnet options are available. Ceramic magnets provide a wider, lower-strength field for larger metal pieces, while neodymium magnets provide a stronger, focused field for fine particles.

Typical pipeline diameters range from 50 mm (2 in.) to 250 mm (10 in.), with custom sizes available. Easy-access doors and hinged housings simplify magnet cleaning and reduce maintenance time.
