Position Location: Newton, KS — Full Time
Bunting located in Newton, KS, is a leading manufacturer of magnetic conveying and separation equipment serving a wide variety of industries. We have an immediate opening for an Product Control Planner / Scheduler. This person is responsible for operating equipment that stacks or places magnets in proper polarity sequencing to produce high-quality magnetic assemblies. This person will assemble shop orders for manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepares shop orders for manufacturing for assigned product groups.
• Issues new stock orders from production control manufacturing list.
• Prepares stock shop orders for manufacturing.
• Makes copies of orders and puts with packing list for accounts payable.
• Expedites all purchase orders.
• Keeps production control manager informed of possible problems with deliveries.
• Reviews job closings.
• Prepares assigned purchase orders.
• Files open and closed purchase orders.
• Keeps track of released and closed shop orders.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Microsoft and Epicor experience.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to consistently perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
• Must be able to use computer and all appropriate applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email, etc.)
